Discussion
The reason for putting this page here is to help people like me (including me!) realize their fetish and way of thinking. I do not have the answers. But with your help and opinion, we might get into some results. Some questions that really bother me:
1) Why do we feel so attracted to female feet?
3) Is there a connection between the way we grew up and the foot fetish?
4) Should we hide our preferences, or just feel free to enjoy?
5) How important is it to satisfy our needs ?
I'm waiting your suggestions, thoughts, opinions by e-mail.
Probably you have a question to add to the list. Your thoughts will be put in this page. Please help me to make this page a serious discussion site.

1) Why do we feel so attracted to female feet?
David's view
I feel that
we are attracted to female feet because they are hidden from us.
Curiosity draws our attention to that which we cannot see or
touch.
Frank's
view
It's just on of those
grand universe things in the universe, that you accept... cause
it would drive you mad if you ever learned the truth. Don't be
ashamed. It's something that makes you unique. It makes me
unique.

I really don't know yet (sorry!). I find a female
foot most beautiful, intriguing even inviting! The shape is
perfect, movement is perfect, well everything on it is perfect.
Matthew's
View
For me, there
is nothing more beautiful than the subtle forms and curves of a
female foot. It is a living work of art. I have spent years
collecting images of well formed, delicate feet. What surprises
me still is HOW MUCH the sight of the foot arouses my interest
(and other things). It could be described as an obsession, and I
revel in it like nothing else. That question I may never know the
answer to.
David's view
I think it began,
for us as a civilization, when shoes were invented!
Frank's view
Look at Greek stories:
these ALOT of sexual innuendo... and of course when they talked
about the female gods, the always called them by name and add the
epitaph... "of the lovely ankles". To tell you the
truth I don't know when its started. There IS a web site that did
deal with foot fetish (really foot sex, I think) and tracked it
through history. I can't remember the url... but I will drop you
a line. (I wasn't Bullshitting about the Greek plays... check 'em
out.. GOOD reading!) The Greeks did everything... and the Romans
assimilated that...
Pedic's view
I think same time as
sex was invented. It must be old as the human race. But people
never bothered keeping statistical records in the old days.
Matthew's View
There have
always been foot fetishists, and the foot has been revered
throughout history. Several cultures document practices which
involve the foot. In many instances the foot is a direct link to
the sexual organs (smaller feet on a woman being linked to a
tight vagina, large feet on a man representing his length).
Reflexology, foot-binding, and foot jewelry have all been
examples of the significant place the foot has in our sexual
practice.
3) Is there a connection between the way we grew up and the foot fetish?
David's view
I've read that
small children associate a parent's lower limbs with comfort and
security, because as a toddler your closer to a parent's legs and
frankly, small children can't really looks their folks in the
face, and I'm sure you've seen a child clinging to a parent's
leg. So, maybe its a longing for that comfort that one felt when
they were only "knee high".
Frank's view
Hmmmmmmmm..... I had
foot surgery when I was young... that's pretty traumatizing for a
five year old... also, again when I was young there was a woman
that was very pretty, and she had spaghetti string sandals on..
(very popular in the sixties) I couldn't stop staring at her
feet, and her cute toes. I guess she was my first crush, I was
only seven though. She help me learn to walk again.
Pedic's view
Some Psychologists believe that there is such a
connection. I'm not a doctor, but I think that maybe something
happened when we were kids, or maybe it was something we saw,
felt, heard. I haven't found my "something" (if there
is any) yet.
Matthew's View
This is one I
have spent MUCH of my time answering, and that answer is yes. I
grew up in a Catholic family which looked down upon my sexual
exploration. Sex was something to keep behind closed doors in a
committed relationship. Masturbation was the tool of the Devil to
tempt me away from God. Rather than become trapped in sin, I
began to focus lower and found the feet. God could not damn me
for looking at this part of a woman's body, AND it was a body
part which I could see often, enabling me to enjoy my sexual
thoughts without ANYONE else knowing. It was my secret pleasure.
I've since grown beyond any of these fears of eternal damnation,
but the ideas were ingrained, and I now take GREAT pleasure from
these feelings.
4) Should we hide our preferences, or just feel free to enjoy?
David's view
I feel that their
is a right time and right place for everything. Could you imagine
walking into a bar wearing a T-shirt stating: "I WANT TO
LICK AND SUCK YOUR FEET"! You'd be thrown out on your ear. I
believe that when you meet some one you love ( as you have) you
should be able to open up and talk about what makes you happy.
Imagine having NEVER told your wife about this! How frustrated
would you be.
Frank's view
I've only revealed my
"secret" to a handful in my life time. Two couldn't
understand the connection... two thought it was cute and
adorable... one indulged me, and loved to tease me with her feet,
and watch me squirm... another found it interesting and wanted to
explore that aspect with me, but she backed out because she felt
strange having a guy massage and kiss her feet.... It up to you
how you feel. I think it's a matter of personal choice. If you
want to be open about it, go ahead. Jut look at CC dude! Man,
he'll go up to any woman on the street, and ask if he can take
pictures, kiss, suck on a woman's toes, or have their soles on
his face. It's up to you.
Pedic's view
Let's face it. The only people who can understand
us, are people like us (foot fetishists). All the rest cannot
understand our preferences. Even the people who love us, can only
tolerate our thoughts. Sometimes this is just enough. So we'd
better be careful when we "open" our hearts (and
tastes) to anybody. Just be discrete and careful. You see most
people look at you as something weird, when you don't follow the
"general rules".
Matthew's View
Never hide it,
is what I say. I did this for years, and I felt shame every time
I thought someone might suspect my desires. The last two years I
have been open and honest about it, and I have received
acceptance and understanding. It's such a natural part of the
human mind to adapt and grow. After all, we would be a pretty
dull race of beings if we all had the SAME desires and the SAME
needs.
5) How important is it to satisfy our needs ?
David's view
It's important to
satisfy it in a way that isn't viewed as perverted. Like,
stealing shoes, hosiery, or even socks, people who act out in
this manner only make us ,who harbor these urges, look like
sexual deviants. But, when I meet a girl who is into having her
feet rubbed and kissed, man, I'm on it!!;) (I'm single...not
cheating)
Frank's view
Again, it how far you
feel to go. If you need the urge to touch a female foot... if you
need a foot job, it how you feel inside. If your content kissing
the arch of a beautiful foot. Hey, it's your choice you feelings.
My preference however must remain locked away for my lovers eyes
and feet only... sorry, no free story here. ;o) heheheheeh
Pedic's view
I think it's important to satisfy our needs
somehow. It's a matter of life and mental stability. How often do
we say "God these feet drive me crazy". You might be
able to bury your desire for some time, but not for long. And
believe me, if you keep it buried, it hurts A LOT! The most
important thing to remember is that we shouldn't do anything that
our partner(s) could not tolerate. We have to find a golden
route, to keep both satisfied. Very often we have to compromise.
Of course, if your partner shares the same fantasies, or likes to
be treated as you like to treat him, then you have the perfect
match.
Matthew's View
I believe this
is very important. As I say above, we have nothing to be ashamed
of, and we should be proud to express our feelings when we feel
like it. Having the number of webpages devoted to feet that there
are is a sign that this is true. Foot friends everywhere can
connect with each other and help to bring these feelings to
reality. I wouldn't be SANE if I could not satisfy these needs.
David's view
Live without
it!...NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Frank's view
Can you live without
sex? Yes, you can, but it's awfully, AWFULLY difficult. Can you
live without a female foot fetish? Possibly, but sexy feet and
sexy sandals, and sexy colored toes usually turn up everyday, so
it would be awfully difficult. I wouldn't though. It's a part of
you, and it's up to you if you wish to explore it.
Pedic's view
As long as you feel the urge for the female foot,
don't try to fight it altogether. It really hurts! I've tried it
some time ago and it was really painful. In fact, sometimes it
leads your sexual life. If you don't have it, then you don't
possibly think of normal sex. It's like being in a desert for
some days without water. You miraculously find a glass of fresh
water only to discover that you shouldn't drink it. What could
you do ?
Matthew's View
Never. That
would be like requiring your brain to stop thinking about
chocolate, or going to the movies, or ANY normal activity. It is
a part of WHO we are, and we cannot live without even the
smallest part of ourselves. We are who we are.
