Planning Calendars can help
YOU accomplish your educational goals!
Instructions:
Get a Weekly Schedule Planning Sheet and set it up as
follows—
- Your name and dates in
the week are written at the top of the page.
- Using a RED pen, draw
vertical lines midway through the middle of each daily column…top of the
grid to the bottom. This will
divide each daily column into two sections.
- Still using the red pen, on the left-hand side of each column, PLAN your
day. Write 1-3 words describing the activity you plan to do. Example: “UP”, “EAT”, “MATH p. 43”,
“Engl. Pers. Para.”, etc.
- If an activity will
take longer than an hour, draw a line through the next box—stopping when
you think the activity will be concluded.
- At the bottom of the
page, write in the time you PLAN to go to sleep.
- Complete the planning
calendar for the entire week.
- DAILY…use your calendar
to guide your day. The right-hand
side of each column is where you write in CHANGES to your plan; do this in
black, blue or color other than RED.
If there’s no change in your plan, leave the right-hand box BLANK.
- Attach completed
calendars and paragraphs to this cover sheet
