| EMAIL can be a great tool for communication; we use it in science class at the Prospect Education Center. While at PEC, email is to be used for educational purposes only. The messages you send reflect back on the sender and the school. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IMPACT OF YOUR COMMUNICATION. If you receive any questionable communication, report it to your teacher at once. Email Etiquette and Privacy * BE POLITE--Never send or encourage others to send abusive messages. * USE APPROPRIATE LANGUAGE--you are a representative of PEC and PUSD on a public system. Never swear, use vulgarities, or any other inappropriate language. * PRIVACY--don't reveal your full name, address, phone number, names or addresses of family members/students/collegues. * DISRUPTIONS--don't use the network in any way that would disrupt the use of the network by others. * REPRESENTATION--don't send anonymous messages or represent a message to have been written by another. All correspondence should be clearly identifiable as to its originator. * LEGAL--abide by all district, state, national, and worldwide laws pertaining to email use.
