This year in Science I feel that I'm going to learn alot. I think this because everything I've learned so far has been new to me. I hope to learn how to make Science an easier subject for me.
Topics we'll study this year include: storms, ecology, food, resources, genetics and science project, shelter, disease, flight, and technology and inventions.

WHAT I'VE LEARNED!
Orientation to Global Science--What is Science?So far I've learned about SI (International System of Measurement) and diffferent measurements that were new to me. We did a lab on what would happen to Pepsi and diet Pepsi cans if you stuck them in a bucket of water. For some wierd reason the Pepsi can sinks and the diet Pepsi floats. Steve said it was because the Pepsi is more dense than the diet Pepsi. We also did a lab on which plastic wrap works the best. We tested it by leaving wet paper towels wrapped in plastic wrap over night to see which paper towel had the most moisture left. The generic plastic wrap left the paper towel dry while the Reynolds wrap kept the most moisture. As expensive as food is I think that I would choose the Reynolds Wrap.
