| June, 19w5d: Our 'big' ultra scan today: Good and surprising! The 20-week appointment is one of the most important examinations, as it is now possible to detect deformities and poor growth progress - well, none of that, everything looked perfect. Also the test results from last time (a.o. spina bifida) were perfect. And now the surprise: As the gynocologist had turned off the monitor, without commenting on the gender, we, of course, asked her to confirm what she'd stated two months ago. Well, then she turned it on again and said, "well, actually it looks like you're having a ....... (ie. the opposite of what she said last time!)!!!. So, now back to consulting the web for a new name... Then we'll have two ready, 'cause i won't believe it till I see it! Next appointment is in August, where my sugar-level will be tested. And with some luck finally get the gender confirmed! Just signed up for our birth-class, which will start Sept. 1. |
