Summer -  June 2005
I'm now 7 months and a few weeks old & enjoying life! I laugh, giggle and babble all the time (mama mama, baba baba, bawa bawa and lots of other nonsense!), I'm growing like a weed (don't know why dad call's me Buddha??!!), at the 6 month-check-up a month and a half ago, I was just over 8 kg and 68 cm.

While I still find it completely unnecessary to flip from my belly to my back (ugh, tried it twice, didn't like it at all!), I love turning from back to belly. Anyway, lying on the back is only for babies!! Ever since I turned 7 months, I find it appropriate to be able to watch the world go by from a sitting perspective... My buddies at daycare do that too, so I'm really good at this, hardly ever fall over. Actually, I've now found out that I can get back to lying on my belly from sitting up - just have to grab my left toes and woops there i go! It's pretty annoying to have a right leg that gets stuck under my bum, though... gotta figure that one out soon!

What I find completely uninteresting is when mom or dad put me on my feet (don't know why they do that when I can sit?!), then I just kick my legs a bit, stand on my toes and then sit in the air! that'll teach them to put me down...

One funny thing I've found out is to slide backwards through our hallway - wooohooo, that's cool! Unfortunately I've never managed to hide, mom follows my drool-trail and eventually finds me...

What else has happened around this time...? Well, I finally got my first tooth at exactly 7 months! The bottom left one came out first, but it hurt so bad, I had to scream an entire day, mom looked really worried and also a bit frustrated... the second one came out two weeks later, but that one was not as bad.

So that's it for now, just thought i'd tell you what i can do now, and what i still have to work on (like reading and writing, hehe!). Here are the photos some of you have been waiting patiently for...:
