| 33w4d: I'm definitely growing as I speak... Fortunately, the 10+ kilos I've gained are more or less only belly (ok, ok, a little on my rear, a little more on my thighs...!). Funny how the movements have changed - from thudding and kicking, to wiggling and rolling. They're now more or less constant, but I'm happy to have noted that the little one and I have more or less the same sleeping pattern: it sleeps when I do (or I'm just too exhausted at night to notice anything??) - and knowing that it wakes when I do, I've found myself tiptoing to the toilet at night in order not to wake him/her up...Please cross your fingers that there will be a painless continuation from our baby's ante-natal to post-natal sleeping pattern!! Can't believe there's only six weeks to go... Have had my midwife-talk at Triemli (the hospital where I'll deliver), we've had our one-day baby-care course, only two more birthing classes to go... Braxton hick contractions are still there once in a while, but noting serious or regular. Have had a few hidious leg-cramps, but they seem to be under control again. The baby is now keeping itself and me (and Fluppi) entertained with frequent bouts of massive hiccups - don't know what to think of them - somehow they're sweet, somehow they're pretty darn annoying! I'm growing out of my maternity pants, but I'm trying to ignore that... We're working on packing the bag for hospital, but I'm trying to ignore that too... Started working part-time (80%, every Monday- and Friday afternoon off), which helps me relax a bit, especially as I can now go swimming during non-rush hour... We're both enjoying these sessions massively!! |
