April, 11w6d:

Almost a month now without any complications - only those involving food orgies and sleep-marathons... queasiness never developed beyond the initial waves of nausea. By now, it's more or less completely gone.

Time for that long anticipated 12-week check-up - is it all over or will everything be fine?? This time Fluppi joins me - he too wants to see the first kick! And there it is!! Amazing how it's grown - now around 7 cm. It's moving around waving and kicking - and then I stupidly ask the gynocologist if she can see a heart beat...!

Well, entertainment-time over, it's time to measure the nuchal fold. This too seems just  fine, barely 1.1mm.

Then we ask her when we may be able to see the gender of the baby - and she discloses the secret to us: she's almost 100% sure it's a ......... - naa, you'll have to wait and see for yourself!
