NOTES FROM UNDER THE BLUE HAT

INTRO:    Today is 4-27-1.  Game 1 is over. Lets see what’s in the mailbag!  No one has emailed me so I wrote a letter to myself.

MAILBAG:     This letter comes to me from me on 4-27-1:  HOLY COW, PEETAGE ALMOST WON, PEETAGE ALMOST WON!”  The game was indeed a sloberknocker and we all had fun.  What more can you ask for other than Earls head on a stick?

PLAYER NEWS:

Jimmy “airwolf” Moore brought a lethal combination of power and moore power to the plate in our first game.  His determination to learn more positions in the field will certainly have a positive impact in our organization.

Tim Orow still owns 24 house cats.  He currently flew in from Venezuela to compete in our first game of the season.  What a trooper.  As far as we can tell Tim hasn’t brought back any diseases with him.  If anyone needs 350lbs of coffee, Tims house is the place to go.

The Krimm family is multiplying quickly.  Scott has taken over at third base and is having a lot of fun with the team.  His sons, “The brothers of destruction”, Jason and Damian made an appearance at the game and hope to join or fill in on the Peetage roster soon.

Coach Casey O’Neil came up strong in the outfield and put together one huge lineup of players this year.  The addition of more Krimms can only be a good thing.  Coach C is determined to guide Peetage into the winners circle this season.

Jason Buntine is geared up for another monstrous season AND movie.  Our MVP is very excited about the soon to be written Peetage movie.  More on that later in the update.  Jason is now performing Thursday nights at second base.  To catch show times click on Schedule.

Number 86 Matt Marken performed well in the field as well as the rest of the Peetage line up.  His batting abilities were a bit rusty but he still managed to get the job done.  The on ice training has slowly decreased due to a hectic school/work schedule, but he still plans on getting into better shape soon.  138lbs of bone and tissue can’t hit dingers!

Carl Buchin is still a huge and powerful part of the Peetage lineup.  This youngsters abilities still haven’t reached its potential.  Carl is now sporting a black eye due to his last hockey game.  This further proves that you don’t mess with Carl…he also still refuses to show the guns.

Mike “Quick Silver” O’Neil has been sharpening his pitching skills and hopes to pass on his knowledge to another pitcher in near future.  Mike had his usual stellar game creating many plays from the mound to first.  This 1,000 hit + pitcher just doesn’t stop!

Anthony Ciatti rocked you like a hurricane from his shortstop position in our season opener.  Out after out.  The ball rarely left the infield.  The walls of Ciatti mean business this season and not even Earl can knock it down!

Philippe accompanied by his wife and little Sam stormed into the catchers position with a mission to destroy.  By the way, he has requested this position next game…perhaps Philippe has found his Peetage calling.

Also “Fire Marshall” Bill Marken made a special appearance in the crowd but Tim “I got yer wallet” Marken was nowhere to be found.

NUMBER 69 Jim Bradow is back for the attack!  Jim has taken over at the first base position and is having a wild time with all his friends.  He is one wild and crazy guy!

PEETAGE SURVEY:  Right now 64% of our fans want Carl to show the guns.  He can’t hide the guns forever…or can he?

CONFIRMED PEETAGE RUMORS: Yes INDEED!  A Peetage movie is in the works by our team members and friends.  This movie is going to be one fantastic sloberknocker!  Chicago Emily will be working with us on it also.

Rumors that Earl is a lesbian nazi hooker who was abducted by aliens and forced into weight loss programs are true.

Rumors that Philippe would be traded for a wedge of cheese are entirely false.  Anyone who comes to IHOP with us is a keeper.

MOJO:     Does anyone know the real reason why Mojo the monkey was not                        present for our first game!?

WWF NEWS:  There is a possibility that some former WCW stars will be joining this new roster

The Backlash card seems to be coming together.

Undertaker and Kane vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H is a virtual certainty -- stipulations to be announced by Monday on RAW IS WAR from Denver.

The Ultimate Submission match with Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle, with a required 30-minute time limit, could be extraordinary. Chris Jericho vs. William Regal will have some unique stipulations and will addressed Monday on RAW.

No doubt, Shane McMahon vs. Big Show in a Last Man Standing match will offer some surprises and another opportunity for Show to step up to the plate.

More matches will be announced on RAW and perhaps SmackDown! as well. This Pay-Per-View has a fighting chance to be very entertaining, but it has a helluva act (WrestleMania) to follow. If it is solely compared to WrestleMania, Backlash may already have two strikes against it. This one could surprise us.

Lita is hot.

FAN OF THE WEEK:  Our fan of the week is Emily Kostin.  Many fans know her as the fake cousin of the O’Neil family.  She recently joined us at our IHOP after game meal which only shows she’s a hardcore fan.  We thank you and all our great fans!  You’re what really makes Peetage work.

Where are they now?:  Brad Macdonald made an appearance and practiced with Peetage a few weeks before opening day.  Brad is still close with the team and it was great to see him on the field again.

                        Matt Ritzler shoots people

Kyle Galan was found in a homeless shelter after his boy band “The little rascals” hit rock bottom because yet another non song writing non instrument playing band failed miserably.  We wish him the best.

Randy Dell’s where abouts is still unknown

Lorne is still out with a bad back

Gary still rules.  He doesn’t work on computers anymore.  He has actually resumed his job back at the Jacobson’s restaurant with Casey O’Neil in Laurel Park mall.

Machine Gun Craig Kelly is recuperating nicely from his last Peetage season.  Where are they now?…Rumor has it that Craig can be found in his garage watching old tapes of Peetage games and mumbling something about Mario Lemieux…hmm.

Jeff Wade now plays a tree on the children’s show Barney.  If you look real close at the painted faces, one of those is him.

Random crap:               *61 the movie will be out this Saturday night.  For those of you with HBO be on the lookout for Matt and Casey so totally acting as the main characters in this flick.
