WITH RACHEL
MAROUDIS 2/14/02
Suprise!
It's our St. Collette all-star Rachel Maroudis!!!!!
1. Congratulations. You've been chosen as not just the only female
to do 20 Quesions, but also the only interviewee that played St. Collette Peetage
and not men's league Peetage. How does that feel to be the one and only?
Oh so privledged to have been chosen
by Casey, he takes the game seriously, not easy to make his team.
2. When were you first introduced to the team and what did you think?
In fact not too many people on the current team even know you, so fill us in.
I think I was like 10, maybe 11, I don't really remember I'm sure I have
thorphy somweher but i don't want to get up to find it. I thought it'd be fun
cause I love softball and have played pickle with you(matt), casey, tim and
meghan since i was in second grade. Casey gives softball a whole new meaning
thou, we made cocahes yell, and the opponents hate us, a fun start to the
weekend, since our games were played on saturday mornings.
3. What past baseball experience do you have?
I have played softball since I was 5, well I guess kit was t-ball, when
I turned 7 I got to play softball on the parks and rec team till I turned
13. I played softball in the St.Colette leauge for 6 years and have played for
a wayne county league the past 3 years. In addition to all thse teams I also
played softball for Churchill High Schol when I attended there.
4. On a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being a Detroit Tigers pitcher and 10 being a
member of Hanson, rate the following ball players:
Jeff Ellsworth=8
Shawn Boske=7
Ryne Sandburg= 10
Mark Grace=8.5
Jeff Hardy=6 - I can't see him
playing softball
5. Tell us one good story about the old people at your assisted living
job.
Of our many old ladies is a cleptomaniac. We were setting tables for
lunch one day and the lady's son came downstairs with a garbage bag, one of
those big ones used for the outside garbage cans. Anyways it was full of
something and the son said that he apoagize for his mother and that we should
look in the bag, an odd request, to look inside a garbage, but we did anyways.
Inside we found - we really counted - 113 packages of crackers; 178 jellies; 8
knives; 14 forks; 13 soup spoons and 7 teaspoons; 10 napkins. That is one of
the wierdest things that every happened there.
6. You're a young girl so we're going to have to change a few
questions. So tell us, who was the Peetage heartthrob back in the St.
Collette days as well as todays team?
The leauge heartthrob was
Chris, the peatage heartthrob thou...hemmmm I
would have to say Jeff
7. Finish these sentences:
The best thing about our website is it's kept up in part by matt
One time when no one was looking I put ketchup in this girls pop
I think Peetage really means superior
I was an amazing ball player because I can play any position, shortstop, center field, pitcher, w/e
If I had one wish I would wish for That I have no more knee problems so that I can play softball and
snowboard as long as I want.
8. You don't hold any major awards, but you do have your picture and an
honorable mention on the history page. How do you feel about all that?
Allright I guess, I'm hoping to earn an award or 2 this spring if casey
goes through with the coed leauge like I think he should! I think once I
prove myself to the new patege team nad the fans things will improve for
me and I'll hopefully have more than a picture and an honorable mention.

when gabby and jill and jeff where on the team
TimmyPoopers=your mom yelling
at you for picking on tim no matter what

19. If you were stuck in an elevator and could have 2 teammates with you,
who would they be and why?
Gabby and Jill cause I hardly see them anymore and I think the last
time we all hung-out was seriously a year ago, it'd be nice to see them
both and get to talk about whatever is going on in our lives.

to say anything you want or plug your stuff/website/merchandice.)
