tracked down our former second basemen Jason Buntine at
1. Alright now. We finally got you to do 20 Questions. Now
you're a
nice boy of course, so tell us honestly and nicely why you left the team.
Did you quit, or what? Give us the real deal!
Quit, left, kicked off, not asked back...they are all just terms.
Honestly, I'm
not really sure what happened, I know I was discussing the option of retirement
during the year, but due to some crazy shananagans relationships went sour, and
that brings us to me being a free agent.
2. When were you first introduced to the team and what did you think?
I was introduced during the St. Collete years, we were a different breed
back
then we played for the love of the game. We played for the sheer joy of making
little girls cry, it was a blast.
3. What past baseball experience do you have?
I played since I was 5 T-ball through high school, then softball after
High
school. I was all city, district, and conference throughout my h.s career, i
tried out at Eastern, but they didn't have any room for walk-ons.
4. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being Aaron and 10 being sexy, rate the
following players:
Crazy Carl Buchin= 10, he's crazy, a real intimidating presence on
and off the
field.
Matt Marken= 5000, he's dead sexy
Casey O'Neil= 14.5, pizza, cake, and assorted goodies always
make for a good
time
Gary Ushiro= 10, good host and cook, celebrated the new millenium at his
house,
plus he's japanese.
Pat Morgan= 8, he eats anything he sees, now Big Ryan Maloney is a 12
5. You hold an MVP award, an MVP honorable mention, Comback Player
award, and a Silver Slugger award. What really is your biggest
acomplishment in the Peetage organization?
It's hard to say what my biggest accomplishment was, although people
felt like
I took personal stats too seriously, I really just love playing the game.
Sometimes I can get caught up in the numbers, but there is nothing better than
being on the diamond because for 6 innings you can leave all the weeks troubles
behind you and play ball. But if I had to chose, I think my biggest
accomplishment would be if i won fan of the week.
6. You are a Peetage all time leader with a batting average of .574, 7
triples, you're number 1 in hits with 120, 209 at bats, and 61 games
played. So having said that, does a champ like you really just sit in a
chair
(according to your player profile) for a pre-game ritual?
I was very proud of my chair, but unfortunately i didn't sit in it as
much as I
anticipated when I first purchased it. My pregame ritual is more along the
lines of listening to music and getting hyped for the game. But you know what
they say, a man is only as good as his chair, and if this is the case maybe we
should get one of those chairs for Jeff Wade, his game needs a shot in the arm.

8. What did you enjoy most about being on the team?
I liked the comradery, and that although it was just softball everyone
did take
it seriously and tried their hardest to get better.(except matt)
9. Is food really sexy?
A good steak can be more satisfying than a woman

1980=not much of anything I was a stupid baby.
1989=loving the Oakland A's and wearing their hat resting on the
top of my head
with my bangs hanging out like a fag
1999= Peatage
2002= Starting my new life
2069= being the retirement home jiggalo

Maloney, and Anthony because they are full of hilarity and hijinx

Pitched a no hitter= Pitched a 2 hitter, in h.s., i also hit for the
cycle
once, and had 7 rbi's in a game
Spyed on apartment girl= with a video camera
Wished he could be that Road Dogg guy= ever time I light one up
Gotten to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop= it took
me 459 licks but i
finally did it

15. So, I hear you invented an on ice game called Sockey involving the
sports
of Ice Hockey and Soccer. In fact we have video footage of you
and the Krimms playing Sockey. Tell us what else this game involves and
what
it takes to make it in Sockey.
Only the few the proud, the strong in heart and the mighty in stature
can play
sockey, many will try more will fail, but when it's all said and done I will
create such a league that will rival that of the xfl.
16. Does Brian Buntine like hose?
He's got hose, in different area codes. You're dang right he loves hose!
17. Tell us one thing about yourself that the team doesn't already
know.
I guess there is a lot to know, I have made a drastic change since my
last game
with peetage. I don't know if people know it but i disect dead people, and I
got a job at Providence doing physical therapy, and by the start of the season
I will be a proud resident of Sumpter township. And i watch Smallville on the
WB religiously
18. If you could be Casey for one day, what would you do with yourself
and to others?
Bang chicks, do you even need to ask? And put something outragous on the
website that would make everyone say, "what in the world was this kid
thinking"
