Sollars. How can you go wrong with a name like that? If you would
like to know more about that guy that gets mentioned in the Notes from under
the blue hat column, read this! He only played one game. So he
ranks right up there with Scott Krimm's brother in law! Enjoy.
1. So you're that one guy. Honestly I don't even remember
you. Are you that big huge guy or the smaller one that didn't talk
much? Fill us in and let us know who the real Don is.
The real Don, that's a hard question to answer. Well I am
6'9" about 315pds. I am a manager at the Southfield Boston Market. I
am a friend of Jasons, that's how I got to play. I also play softball on
Mondays, and i've been pumping iron regularly so this year I am looking to
double my homerun mark.
2. When were you first introduced to the team and what did you think?
I was first introduced to the team this summer by Jason, there was a few
times I was told to bring my stuff because they needed guys, but I didnt' get
to play so i was kind of pissed, but I got over it. I thought it was cool, but
it sure did rain a lot.
3. What past baseball experience do you have?
I played little league growing up and softball, but my sport is
football, i played in high school and almost in college till I blew out my knee.
4. On a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being a Barry Bonds and 10 being a Mark
McGwire, rate the following ball players:
Jason Buntine=15, he's a great ball player, and get s 5 extra
credit points for being dead sexy.
Carl Buchin=10, i don't know him but from what Jay says he seems like a
cool guy
Mike Tyson=1, anyone who eats children is a sick bastard
Cecil Fielder=10, but his son Prince is a 20.7
Cal Ripkin Sr.=1 I hate all the ripkens, except billy who has
that cuss word on his bat
5. You don't have a Peetage profile or even a mention on the history
page. Although, you are mentioned every month in the Notes from under the
blue hat article. How do you feel about that?
I am a little upset but i only played one game so i
understand....whoever put me on the notes is a A+ guy.
6. Your stats are as follows. You played 1 game, had 2 at bats, and
have 1 hit. A .500 batting average is pretty impressive. So why is
it that you have no Peetage awards?
Any old dick head can hit .500, expecially in only 2 at bats give me a
full season and I'd be the MVP

8. Tell us a good story about any of the guys you know on the team.
Jason told me a story about how Casey doesn't like gum so one day Jays
ex was chewing it so Casey drove home in the rain in the winter like a mad man
with the windows rolled down. I never knew one man could like gum so much.

11. If you were stuck in an elevator and could have 2 teammates with you,
who would they be and why?
Jason of course because he is a good friend, and jeff wade because he is
the only other guy i know.
12. What do you remember about the following years:
1980=I was born
1990=I was getting ready to move to Michigan from California
1995=outgrowing shoes
1997=knocking Defensive lineman down
2002=playing indoor soccer for the first time, and having the best
softball season ever

18. What are your plans for the off-season? What are your plans at
all?
I am currently working out and training for the upcoming season,
and keeping up a full time job. I really want to become a cop, but we'll see
how things go.
