WITH DAMIAN KRIMM 3/14/02

It took over 2 months but it's finally here.  20 Questions with Damian Krimm!  Finally find out how long Damian was an only child.  This interview comes in at number 2 for length just short of the reining champion Mike O'Neil.  Enjoy!


1.  Name one way your different from your brother, no not physically you
sicko.

There’s so many that I wouldn’t know where to begin.  We really are two
separate guy’s once you get to know us.  Most people just assume we are one
in the same, and judge us together.  That couldn’t be farther from the
truth.  I would just like to let everyone know that just because we are
brothers and best friends doesn’t mean were the same person.

2.  How much beer can you get from an AA chip?

I have no idea what an AA chip is.  What kind of shenanigans are you trying
to pull here Marken? Are you insinuating that my love of beer would rise to
a level where I would need to seek counseling? Damn, I knew this would
happen.  I’m only on the second question and I already need a cold one.  brb

3.  When were you first introduced to the team and what did you think?

I remember it like it was yesterday. It was the summer of 2001, and my
brother and I had just finished winning our third straight tough man tag
team tournament.  As we exited the ring I noticed two figures wearing gray
hooded cloaks in the front row.  I was unable to see their faces but they
both had a rather large letter P on the breast of their cloak and one of
them had a Motley Crew patch on their shoulder.  I thought they were
peculiar, but I was quickly mobbed by news reporters and cameramen, and lost
sight of them.  Later in the locker room I was visited by the two men.  They
told me to call them Obi Wan O’Neil and Luke Marken. They told me that the
Peatage was strong in me, and that my brother and I must join them in their
quest to rid Livonia of the evil Wintergarden and the other dark forces that
had been plaguing them in the past.  The first two seasons have ended
unsuccessfully, however the third episode of the BOD is yet to be written.

4.  What past baseball experience do you have?

I played seven years of little league ball, and one season in the Redford
men’s softball league where we went 0-14, but it took only a half a season
with the Peatage organization before I picked up “the bottle.”

5.  On a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being half empty and 10 being half full,
rate the following ball players:

Daryl Strawberry= 0 LOOSE THE HABIT!!!
Jason Krimm= 9.99 by himself, but when we combine to form BOD he is
unstoppable.
Scott Krimm= 12 Who can contend with the complete package.
Scott Krimms brother in law= 9 it’s always rough seeing a player cut down in
his prime.
Carl= 10 great power and speed is a lethal combination.

6.  In great detail and length, explain to us why you're known as a brother
of destruction.

CHAPTER I

I had just uncovered a new dinosaur skeleton in Montana when I was visited
by a Scottish Millionaire.  He told me that he needed my help on a theme
park that he had created, and it was right up my alley.  So my Brother and I
went to his island where we were chased by large reptiles that were trying
to eat us.  In the end we barely escaped with our lives. . .

No wait, that’s not it

CHAPTER II

Ok, well it all started in a small town in Alabama.  It was discovered at a
young age that I had a crooked spine and had to wear braces on my legs.  I
also met a girl named Jenny who changed my life.  She was my  best friend. 
You might say that we were like peas and carrots.  After High School Jenny
and I sort of drifted apart.  I went to college, and later the army, while
she went off to expand her mind in other ways.  In the service I met Bubba,
and we made plans to go into business together after the war.  Bubba went
and got himself shot and killed during a raid.  I ended up savin a bunch of
guy’s, funny how that worked out.  So in the end I became a millionaire and
all I do now is sit on a park bench passing out chocolates and quotin what
momma used to tell me. . .

No, that’s not it either

CHAPTER III

Alright, My name is Mr. Thomas Anderson, but I really lead two lives.  One
is a mild mannered computer programmer for a respectable software company,
and the other is lived on computers where I go by the hacker alias Neo. 
Night after night I search on my computer for an answer that is burning in
me.  What is the Matrix?  I am soon contacted by a guy named Morpheous who
tells me that I am the one he’s been searching for his entire life, and that
I was going to saved the world.  I was hesitant at first, but I soon got the
hang of it, and in the end I kill the bad guys and get the girl. . .

Oh man, that was way off

Ok, I think Matt said it at one of the first games my bro and I played in.

7.  If you were stuck in an elevator and could have two teammates with you,
who would they be and why?

First of all, where would a BOD be without his Mentor that is Scott Krimm? 
To pass the time he could tell some of his world famous stories like the
time he drank seven Gin & Tonics, ten buttery nipples, and a well groomed
mule and then sang Karaoke. And of course Jay, the younger BOD would be the
reason we were stuck in the elevator to begin with.  He can’t seem to
control himself when elevator music is playing.

8.  You were rookie of the year in the summer of 2001 and won the 11th man
award that same season as well as the fall 2001 season.  What does this mean
to you?

It’s a great honor just to be playing with such a great group of guys.  I
just hope I can continue to improve and help the team out after loosing some
great talent in the off season.

9.  What do you remember about the following years:

1980=BOD was born, and I got to be an only child for four minutes!
1990= My fifth year of little league.  It would take two more years before I
would be on a championship team.
1999= New Years Eve with Metallica, Kid Rock, and Ted Nugent singing Detroit
Rock City. This was the high point of my life until I became a part of
Peatage.
2001= I was called up by Peatage.
2069= One of my life long goals is to live to see this date.

10.  Why are you grabbing your crotch on your Peetage profile?  Do you do
that often?  And where did Puck68 come from?

I would first like to thank Matt and Casey for choosing this photo, and also
remind them that the Krimm video camera sees all. Now if you look closely
you will see that I am leaning on a bat, and if I remember correctly Jim and
Jenny were also in the picture.  Now Puck68 stems from my love of hockey. 
The number 68 is for my long time favorite player Jaromir Jagr. Also, just
to let everyone know, my email address is [email protected]. (Puck68 was
taken) I keep telling Casey to change it on the roster page, but I guess
he’s to busy enjoying his new job to listen to me. (Just messin Coach)

11.  Does a B.O.D. really have beef jerky and a 7-11 slurpee as his pre-game
meal?

Yes I do.  This was a tradition that started a few years ago.  I always used
to go by a seven-eleven as I was heading to play hockey, and it sort of
continued into all of the sports that I participate in.  I guess you could
call it a superstition.

12.  Finish these sentences:

The best thing about our website is  Twenty Questions.  I had no idea that
Casey had a third nipple.
Once when Carl wasn't looking I put his name in to sing karaoke.  Come on
Carl, what else are you too sexy for?
I think the word Peetage really means

When we were kids, Jason stole my crayons so I punished him by drinking his
milk at snack time.  I guess that explains why I am stronger than he is.
If I had one wish I would wish for An autographed Backseat Rhythm cymbal (if
I was employed at the time I’d already have it!)

13.  What are your 3 favorite things about being on the team?

1.  The times we drink before the game
2.  The times we drink after the game
3.  Petting the Monkey (just cause we can’t drink during the game)

14.  Who is your favorite former Peatage player? (Ex: Lorne, Kyle, Scott,
Jeff, Gary, Ritz, Jimmy "airwolf" Moore, Jason, Anthony, Jeff, Craig, Brad,
Mark (Scott Krimm's brother in law))

Few know the man, but all know the legend that is Scott Krimm‘s Brother in
law.

15.  Has Damian Krimm ever:

Taken Jasons drivers license test=I kept telling jay that the third times a
charm, but he wanted the guarantee.
Called himself the DK broiler= Only to get free whoppers
Falsely proved that Jason is the evil twin= I swear he’s the evil Twin!!
Starred in a made for TV movie about the life and times of Jason Krimm= I
did make a movie about Jay‘s life, but it wasn’t made for TV.  I’m sure
Bradow found it off of Morpheus if you really want to see it.  I’ll give you
a hint though.  For some of the scenes they had to use a wide angle lens.
Just wanted to dance= Did someone say Sneaky’s?

16.  Tell us one or many things about yourself that the team doesn't already
know.

Living the high profile life as a Brother of Destruction, there isn’t much
that my adoring fans and teammates don’t already know about me.  We can’t
all be mystery men like Carl, however BOD’s Autobiography is set to come out
in May of 2003 so hopefully the book will be able to settle some of the wild
rumors that are floating around.

17.  If you could be Carl for a day, what would you do with yourself and to
others?

First of all the whole day would be video taped with the legendary Krimm
video camera so I could relive the greatest day of my life over and over.
The day would be filled with chicks, playing hockey, more chicks, drinking
at the club, even more chicks, pulverizing anyone that I dislike, and of
course tons and tons of chicks.

18.  Word association.  Mention the first thing that comes to you when you
hear:

Last call= Is it three already?
Chicks dude chicks=  The club, cause that’s where all the chicks are.
Tits=  Scott Krimm
Scott Krimms brother in law=  Still batting 1.000 for Peatage
Carol Krimm is pregnant with triplets!=  Three BOD? I’m not sure the world
is ready.

19.  What are your plans for the off-season this winter?

As some of you don’t know the Brothers of Destruction are also involved in
roller hockey.  So come to US Blades on Sunday and Tuesday nights to cheer
on the Sharks in the Cooper Adult league! I also play ice hockey every
Wednesday at Allen Park ice arena, and on Saturday you can see me at Plaza
lanes in the V.F.W. Bowling League.  Our team name is NO D.D.
I also plan on doing some major lobbying for alcohol on the bench during the
games.

20.  Did you enjoy your 20 questions Damian Krimm?  (Also use this space to
say anything you want or plug your stuff/website/merchandise)

Yes, and I would like to say that I have truly enjoyed being a part of the
Peatage Organization.  It’s not often that you meet such a great group of
guy’s and girl (I didn’t forget you Laura) who really enjoy playing
together.  I just hope that I can carry on the great name that peatage has
become, and help win a championship.  I also hope that Matt does this again
sometime.
