WITH CASEY O'NEIL 10/25/01

1.  Who is your daddy and what does he do?

My dad is Big Mike O, master softball pitcher and award winning breadman.

2.  When is your birthday and are you really getting what you ask for?

My birthday is October 25th, and all I asked for was an autographed picture of Sixto Lezcano, hopefully I'll get it.

3.  When were you first introduced to the team and what did you think?

I started the team back in 1999 with the dream of creating a winner and playing ball with my friends.  I soon realized its nice at least to play ball with my friends.

4.  What position do you usually play?

I always try to dazzle in the outfield, yet I have had my moments at shortstop, first, or pitcher as well.

5.  On a scale of 1 to 10.  1 being a shmuck and 10 being an all star,
rate the following ball players:

Lorne Trupianno=
6 for being a Randy Johnson look a like.
Barry Bonds=
.5 for being drugged up beyond control.  Bat speed is not supposed to increase as you near 40
Barry Sanders=
10 he kept his mouth shut, I respect that
Mark McGwire=
10 true baseball legend
Don Zimmer=
7 My favorite person in Yankee pinstripes

6.  What past baseball experience do you have?

Two years in travel hardball leagues, 5 years playing and coaching St. Colette to several championships, 5 years of men's softball experience.

7.  Was it the highlight of your career when you caught the final out of the season in 1989 when TimmyPoopers hit the liner to you?

To be honest I don't remember that, but I'm sure it was a magical moment

8.  Can you solve the mystery of why you always show up to IHOP late and wearing different clothes?

I like to look nice for Philippe.

9.  You actually give Tim Orow a little competition in the pussy department.  How many critters do you have roaming the house including Mike O?

Probably hundreds but only 6 that are considered pets...The Dogs Bogie and Trixie; the cats Mittens and Scout, Cindy the turtle, and Zelda the bird.

10.  Was sending Jimmy "airwolf" Moore to the farm club in Arizona the right thing to do for the team, or were you just sick of him showing up at your house at midnight?

Life will not be the same without Jimmy, but it will be good to have a west coast talent scout.

11.  Finish these sentences:

The best thing about our website is
all of it, the web site is a large portion of the Peatage Empire
Hey man
Dude, don't dogg me with questions like this
YOU GUYS WANT SOME
HOT CHOCOLATE?
Being a switch hitter really means
being able to hit it from both sides
If I had one wish I would wish for
the power of Carl, the speed of Matt, the integrity of Philippe, and a twin named Damian.

12.  What do you remember about the following years:

1979=
I remember a long tunnel, then a man in a white coat

One of my best years, out of high school and having a good time
2001=
Another great year of Peatage

13.  Has Casey O'Neil ever:

Woke up with green marker on his face=
Once, and I hired Carl for revenge
Fired a teammate because they don't wear a magic jacket or other magical articles=
I don't mind magic jackets, as long as thats not the only thing they're wearing
Been knocked unconcious by the outfield fence= It's my goal, I'm not afraid of fences, one of these days I will and I promise I'll catch the ball too

Once in Livonia Y softball, I hit 2 homers as well that day
Bobbled his head=
Only when your moms around

I've said it before and I'll say it again...GARY RULES!

15.  What skills have you learned from living your whole life in the same house as Mike O'Neil?

I can't tell you or Mike would come after you and hurt you

16.  Word association.  Mention the first thing that comes to you when you

18.  Tell us one thing about yourself that the team doesn't already know.

I live my life in a spotlight, there is not much I can hide

The work of a softball coach never stops....I have players to scout, roster moves to make, workouts to monitor, not to mention improve my own game to the point of perfection
