| THANK YOU for visiting our class webpage. We are excited about what we are learning in second grade. We will be reading and learning about fairy tales, studying fractions, algebra equations, addition and subtraction with regrouping and learning about weathr and animal life cycles in science. We be reviewing math skills and completing our NC Summative Math Assessment. I will be testing students for individual reading levels at the end of this nine weeks. Practice problem-solving skills, spelling and add/subtract facts. Students should continue to read AR books at their individual reading level. AR CHALLENGE for the fourth nine weeks - earn 7 AR points (score 80 and above) on books at individual reading levels. Second grade will hear stories at the storytelling festival on May 2. Our school cafeteria will pack bag lunches. |
