TO MOMMY AND DADDY

Mommy and Daddy I love you so much

I thank you for these past three days,

And I know how much you love me.

And how much you wanted me to stay.

But Jesus needs me here with him

There is so much that I can do,

One day I hope you can understand

And it can comfort you.

YOu may never know how Jesus has used me,

And how many lives I've already touched,

There were prayers going up all around me

And I appreciated them so very much!

Thank you for loving me so much

There were other measures you could have taken

But you trusted God and your heart

Jesus says you won't be forsaken.

Thank you for bringing your friends to meet me

YOu know they really love you,

And by the sweet things they all said to me

I know they love me too!

I know you worried about my small arms

And what other people would see

But I never needed them anyway,

Cause Jesus reached out for me.

My little legs, I know were short

Again I had no need,

I didn't have to use them

Because Jesus carried me.

I know you will hurt,

More than anyone can know,

Please do one thing for me

Just miss me, but let me go.

Dylan and Hayden need you,

Mom and Dad you need each other too,

Just set your eyes on Jesus

And he will see you thru.

Preacher Wayne is there for you,

And so are all your friends,

You need to lean on them for support

And your heart will surely mend.

You have many friends that love you

And they will be there for you,

You just need to let them help you

It may help to heal them too!

There will be days that you will miss me,

I know your heart is broken,

But listen to the word of God

His words will be lightly spoken.

Even though I was on earth,

Only for a short while,

I never will forget your faces

When you looked at me and smiled.

I will always be in your heart

And you will be in mine,

The love we share together

No one can ever break that bind.

Well I am off to play with Jesus,

I'm sitting on his knee,

I'll be safe and loved forever

Because Jesus is watching after me!

I know one day you'll be in Heaven,

What a wonderful day that will be,

You will be face to face with Jesus

And your faces again I'll see!
