The J.J. Pearce High School Low Brass section comprises of the Trombones, Euphoniums, and Tubas.
The members of this section are the finest musicians and people in the entire band. Why are they the
best? By setting new standards of musicianship and class, on and off the field. Why just look at
where some of the Low Brass alumni are now. Matt Putonti, for example, is now a drunk party animal at prestigous
Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. Adam Hubbard never went to college and is now a dive master
in Florida and changes oil at Jiffy Lube during the winter. Truly, these two exhibit the classiness
that defines what the Pearce Low Brass is all about.
