My Poems
Here are some of the poems I have written ...
Finding love

You are so confused
And you want to find someone true
But what you don't realise
That person will find you

You think the sands of time
Are slipping through the hour glass
But what you don't realise
Is it's you that makes them fast

You're so full of wise advice
And help all those near
But you don't listen to what's in your head
Because your heart is filled with fear

Until you give your heart time to heal
And space for your head to clear
You'll never find that someone
Who you'll end up holding dear

You underestimate yourself
With low self esteem
But everyone around you knows
You'll finally find that dream

Don't think about when
Or how it's going to start
Because eventually you'll find someone
Who will give you all their heart.
Sun Rise

When nightfall is at hand
and figures sleep across the land
The moon pulls white horses across the sand
and lays their souls to rest

When silver rays make light
and shadows flicker out of sight
Light and dark battle the eternal fight
to win the prize of dawn

When red stains all the sky
and morning birds awake and fly
the conqueror moves across the sky
The victor, rose the sun.
All I have to say

You said, you loved
me but it didn't work that way
I tried, so hard
but I just couldn't make you stay

Those nights, alone
all I can do is think of you
and tears, I cry
I don't know what I'll do without you

I could have given you everything
You were all that I need
Now that it's all over
I find it heard to breathe

So sad, so cold
Sleepless nights and empty days
with you, to hold
I could have loved you in so many ways

Now it's, over
Your choice, I can't make you love me, so
I had, to let
You walk away, had to let you go.

Nothing seems to be right
All I see is grey
I know I'll get over you
now that you won't stay

You'll find, someone
Who makes you open up your heart
I tried, but we
Just have to stay so far apart

Please try, to stay
Just exactly the way you are
And think, of me
Even though apart we are

I don't, know what
else there is left to you say to you
Remember us
and I will always think of you.
The Crow

The crow, a soul collector of the dead,
Guiding spirits along a silvery thread,
Guiding the souls to the other side,
Guardian of blackness, a showful guide.
But sometimes the soul is full of sorrow,
and the crow gives life it did borrow,
bringing spirits back to finish what was not,
not resting til revenge is got,
Only then can the soul rest in peace,
and ends the life the soul did lease,
guiding the spirit back along the thread
letting it join all those that are dead,
the crow, guardian of souls, a shadowful guide,
helping the spirits to the other side.
If I could fly

What would happen if we could fly?
Would we live up in the sky?
Would we live like birds in trees?
Or would we build our homes like bees?
I wonder if our arms would ache?
Maybe they would even break!
I wonder what we'd choose to eat?
I doubt we'd ever use our feet!
Would we all like it in the air?
I bet the birds would stop and stare!
Would we ever use the land?
We might forget just how to stand!
Would we grow beaks and tails and stuff?
Instead of clothes, have feathery fluff?
Would the clouds have chocolate shops?
We'd fly amoungst the rainbow drops.
But when it comes to time for bed,
Would we use clouds to rest our heads?
Wrap a rainbow round us tight.
I think I'd like the gift of flight!
When I am gone

When I am gone, please don't be sad
Please think of all the good times we had
Eventually your turn will come too
and I will be waiting in Heaven for you

Don't hold on to the past
As time slips away so fast
Move on and love the way you should
and enjoy all that is so good

Please be strong without me here
For you have nothing to fear
As I will watch you from the sky
and be there for you til you die.
Water

Cold and icy, cruel but not
Holding treasures time forgot
Diamond like, it glistens true
With each dawn it sparkles true
It can be both cruel and kind
And all life it does bind
All these poems are copywrited.
