Marge Piercy was born and raised in Michigan, Detroit.
She is a wonderful author, whose writing specialties are poetry, novels, and essays.
The majority of her writing has been completed with the late 20th century.
She attended the University of Michigan with the aide of a scholarship. The she earned her Master's degree from Northwestern University.
Throughout her career as a writer she has published fifteen books of poetry, some of which include themes of her Jewish origin and her feminist thoughts.
