| Have you ever heard someone say, Boy, were you lucky! or Wow! What a coincidence? I like to refer to them as God-incidences, and here are some examples:
I once read a news story from the Associated Press about a pregnant lady who was flying on a plane and went into labor in the middle of the flight. When the baby was born its heart had almost stopped and the baby was not breathing or moving. Not only were there two doctors on board to deliver the baby, but one doctor was an adult cardiologist and the second was a pediatric cardiologist. The two doctors worked together and were able to save the newborns life with CPR. Yes, my friend, God has a plan and a purpose for us all. Heres another true story: My wife and I were on our way from visiting our families for Fathers Day one year. It was a 12 hour trip and we were about half way home when one of the tires on my car began to vibrate and cause the car to pull to the right slightly as I was driving. I just figured the front wheels needed to be aligned and I was going to proceed with the rest of our trip, but my wife suggested that we get off at the next exit and take a look at the tire. We left the interstate and pulled off into a small town and drove to the nearest gas station. We asked the attendant where the nearest garage was. She told us that there was a garage just down the road less than a mile away, so there was no need to call a tow truck. That was a relief! But then we began to worry: What if a part needed to be replaced and what if the garage needed to order the part? There was no place to stay the nightno motels around in this small town. Plus we had food and medicine in our cooler that needed to be kept refrigerated. Finally, the mechanic looked at my tire and found a large spot where the tread was beginning to separate from the rest of the tire and was about to blow out at any time! Praise God that my wife had talked me out of continuing with the rest of my trip! So all we needed was a new tire, but as you may have guessed, the garage did not have the tire that we needed in stock! Where were we going to find a tire? We needed one today! One of the workers at the garage informed us that there was a tire shop just down the road that had the tire we needed and could deliver it to us in just a matter of minutes! The tire was installed and we were on our way home! God is good! And He is always with us! I built this website because I want to tell the world how God led me through severe depression and thoughts of suicide. I want it to be an inspiration to others who are looking to God for answers. If you are experiencing what now seems like Gods punishment, and it seems that God has turned His back to you, I want you to know that what you are experiencing is for the best, and in Gods perfect time the best will be revealed to you. I want you to know that God always looks out for your best interestseven though right now you may not be able to understand the hows and the whys of a situation. You must never forget that things will always work out for the best, in Gods time. We must remain close to God through persistent prayer and studying the Bible and thanking Him for all things, both good and bad. You are so very blessed, my friend. Just take a moment to think of the many things God has blessed you with. God does not always provide us with our every wish, but He does provide us with our every need. He will forgive us for all of our sins if we sincerely ask Him for forgiveness and promise to try our very best to turn from our sinful ways and look to Him for guidance. (Page 5) |
