“Alright! This Saturday is going to be our triple date!!! Triple meeting as well!! Alright baby!!!” Yoona yelled loudly in front of our classroom.

I sent her a smile and then pushed past her into my classroom. Behind me, I could hear Yoona yelling behind at me. Realizing that if I got caught by her she’d keep me out of class and bother me for 3 hours, I decided my sanity was more important than class so I ran back outside. I ran past 15 trees and then the school gates and then the bus stop…
I continued to run for thirty minutes and by the thirty minutes, my face was dripping with sweat and I’d finally reached my neighborhood.
My dummy is waiting for me! Let’s hurry!
I bought two ice cream cones with a scoop of strawberry ice cream since that was Eungyu’s favorite and headed home, humming happily to myself.
Just then, I spotted some things running past me quickly.
“You pot stealer!!! Give it back! Catch the pot stealer!!!”

It’s only the little kids in playing in the neighborhood. Back when I was their age I was busy memorizing my times tables.

Looking down at them with a smirk I was about to continue heading home when…

With his long legs, Eungyu continued to run towards the end of the street; and in his hands…was a pot.

I think we must’ve circled our neighborhood at least three times around and around. I stopped only to wipe away the sweat dripping down the side of my face. When I’d looked up from my panting, I saw Eungyu leaning against the wall, cradling the pot inside his arms.

It was then when that stu- I mean, my boyfriend Eungyu turned to look at me in the eyes.
He slowly handed the pot over to me and then got up from his spot, while wiping his hands on his pants. Eungyu stared at me with eyes that the sun reflected off.

“Abdula! Don’t step on my shadow!”

Grinning brightly, Eungyu started off.
Ever since he’d come back to Seoul, my boyfriend’s face had become the creamy color it was before and was has happy and bright as ever…
After I’d seen Eungyu at the college park, I’d gone to Eungyu’s parents and begged them (more like threatened them) to bring Eungyu back up to Seoul for around five days.
He was better just one month ago…
…he remembered me…
…he remembered Pupu….Jaegwang…Nari…Heewon…he recognized and remember all of us…
…now, the only one in his head that he knows is Seohyun unnie…
As time passed, Eungyu’s injury seemed to get worse and worse…
First it was a 5-year-old…then three…then soon it’ll be one…and then…zero…
…I can’t even- I don’t even want to think about it if Eungyu forgets who he is…

Just yesterday, you were looking for a cat. (So I had to give him Pupu for a while) and today, it seems that the only thing you’re going to be looking for is Princess Shalala.
It was then when I saw someone carrying something in their arms…a familiar someone.

“..the vet ^0^ .” He said, quickly hiding Pupu behind his back as he noticed Eungyu was with me.

“I want her to lay some babies, so I’m going to have man seeds planted in her stomach.”

“Sure!!! Nuna, don’t forget to pick pretty names for the babies Pupu’s going to lay! ^0^ !”
It was the first time in a few years I’d seen such a big smile on Jaegwang’s face. Holding Pupu, who was about as big as a bag of rice, he continued on his way to the vet to have some ‘man seeds planted in Pupu stomach.’
“My prince, please enter your kingdom.”
“I don’t go in ugly places like this! Bring the princess to me!”
“Why can’t I be the princess!!”
“Hurry! Hurry! Bring me the princess! Hurry! Hurry!”
“You bastard! Why can’t I be the princess!! WHY?!!?!??!”
I was shoved into the front gate because of Eungyu (the bastard), but I continued to yell why he wouldn’t let me be the princess.
Right then…I could hear the soft voice of an angel opening the front gate and poking her head out.
“Unnie, what took you so long?” Nari had moved closer to our neighborhood (all because of Eungyu) and regaining my posture, I shoved my face into hers.
“I should have known! You are blue eyes!!!!”
“…where’s Eungyu oppa?”
“Hey, pretend that you’re Princess Shalala or whatever. Okay?”

I pulled Nari out from behind the door to show Eungyu that I’d found the princess when…
“PRINCESS SHALALA!!!” He yelled grabbing Nari’s hand tightly.

I kneeled on the ground and started pounding on it, cursing on it and when I looked up to join them, they were already only half their size.
That Night.
Eungyu hadn’t come back home even though it was 10, and I was outside, waiting for him. From a little distance away, I saw a figure wiping its nose and on the verge of tears nearing towards me.
“EUNGYU!?”
“…Piggy…”
“You’re home a little early. <_<.”
“…Pupu…Pupu…”
“What about her?!”
“…Pupu…is a man…”
A bitter laugh escaped from Jaegwang’s mouth and at the same time, he threw his cigarette butt down at the ground, and in his arms was Pupu, grinning at me like the cat from Alice in Wonderland.
That night, the two of us had to walk home, each of us enduring a different type of betrayal in both our hearts…
Chapter 2
Next Day 3 PM
Like always, I slept over and as soon as I realized what time it was, I got dressed and ran over to Eungyu’s house.
“Eungyu!! Shin Eungyu!!”
“…Eungyu left early this morning…”
The person Jaegwang hates second to most in the world, Eungyu’s dad, said poking his head out the gate and picking at his ear in annoyance.
“He left?! When?! Where?! Where did he go?!”
“…someone this tall took him…”

In one hand, I clenched on tightly to my ell phone and I left my neighborhood to go and catch a taxi when a number I’d never seen popped up on my caller ID.
Thinking it was no other than Nari I opened my phone and yelled…

“Hey, make time later today.”
“…why.”
“I told all the kids that you’re going out with Shin Eungyu, you’re so dead for keeping this from all of us.”

I snapped my phone shut and froze for a second. Saena that b1tch is going to try and seduce Eungyu when she sees him anyway she can…and Eungyu’s going to go saying he needs to look for Chichipi!!!
Scratching my greasy hair, I climbed into the taxi I had just caught. We’d gone around for two hours no where in particular when I saw someone with messy and wild hair…yeah, not many people have hair like that. And I also saw someone carrying around a pot…yeah, you don’t see many people with pots either…
“Stop!! I want to get out!!!”
The driver stopped the taxi almost in the middle of the street and after paying him, I ran (actually, almost flew) towards them, my two hands in fists. The closer I got to them though, I realized the strength in my fist was starting to disappear…until I could barely even make a fist…
“Oppa, can’t you throw that pot away?”
“No!”
“Why not?”
“Littering is bad, it’s bad.”
“Then, let’s leave it somewhere and pick it back up, okay?”

“If we do, Dondeck will be scared because he’s alone…we can’t throw him away…”
Nari’s mouth made a small pout, and as soon as she spotted me, her mouth dropped open.

Nari hesitantly let go of Eungyu’s hand and I took Nari’s place in holding Eungyu’s hand.
“Eungyu, let’s go.”
“…I’m going to go look for Chichipi, let go of my hand.”

“What?! It was yesterday when you were saying she was your Shalala!!! Who the hell is Chichipi!!!” I yelled frustratingly pointing an accusing finger at Nari. Pouting, Nari turned her head.

With a smug look on her face, Nari and Eungyu started off again.

He covered his ear with one hand and grabbed Nari’s hand with the other. After looking down at me, she followed after Eungyu sticking closely to him.

Weird things started to form inside my head and I realized the horror of it all, carefully, I tried to throw away the weird images and slowly followed after them…
I slowly opened the door and I looked inside to see if I could spot the two of them, I spotted Eungyu hiding in the corner and Nari smiling and waving him over to her. Reassured by Nari, Eungyu got up from his seat and walked over to the table she was sitting at.
“He’s my oppa, didn’t I tell you he was good-looking?”
…I’d just gotten a seat and was covering my face with an ashtray when I heard her say that.
“He looks so much better in real life that in that picture you showed us. Oppa, is that your natural eye color?”

Nari’s friends all edged away from the table and notcing the cherry tomatoes on the tray of food, Eungyu started throwing them up to the ceiling one by one.
But the thing that surprised me more was what Nari said to her friends…
“Oppa’s a little hurt right now, he got hurt. He’s not mentally retarded or anything like that, so don’t make fun of him.”
The table became awkward with silence…

Eungyu curiously fingered the beer bottles in front of him and started chugging it down on his own…

Tears started clouding my eyes in a matter of seconds…

I don’t know if Nari knew what I was feeling, but she nodded as if nothing were wrong and answered her friends, “yeah, what’s the big problem, there’s nothing wrong with that. Besides, he’s cute isn’t he? ^_^.”
I stared at Eungyu for a second as Nari’s friends all nodded their heads awkwardly and hesitantly…

Before Nari could answer, I shot up from my seat and picked up an ashtray, and flung it at the ground. All heads turned to the location where I was standing.

I started walking towards their table and pulled up Eungyu by his wrist thinking, ‘guys are supposed to be the ones who do this…’

I could hear Nari’s little family smothering their laughs as they watched me handle Eungyu.
“Where’s my Dondeck!”
“…he’s right here, so let’s go and find Chichipoo or something rather.”
“Really? O_O.”
“…yeah.”
Eungyu finally looked up at me with interest and I pulled him up quite easily thanks to the bottle of beer he’d drank. Patting his reddened cheeks, he shook his head.
“Eungyu oppa might have been yours but he’s not anymore…” Nari said behind me and Eungyu, “memories are only memories…don’t tie Eungyu oppa down, love is something where two people love each other…not one person.”
“I think you’re thinking of something else than love, Nari.”

It was then when the door to the bar opened wide and…
…a familiar voice made me want to scream in frustration…

“I wasn’t expecting you here, friend.”
“…Yoon Jungwon…this was what you had to do?”
As Yoona raised her hand to hit me across the head, she spotted Eungyu and stopped herself.
“Eungyu! Long time no see!”

Ignoring Yoona, he grabbed Dondeck from me and was petting him.

Saena’s two eyes started firing up competitively as she looked at Eungyu up and down from her spot.

Seeing Eungyu with the pot over his head, I gasped in horror and dragged him out of the bar. Behind us, I could hear Yoona and Jiyoung talking loudly. Walking down the stairs, I helped him pull the pot off his head.
“If you ever go follow Nari like you did today, I’m not going to help you find Chichipi!”
“Be quiet Abdula!”
“Why did you even go drinking that soju! You think that’s water?!”
“…my head…” He said, clutching his head and crouching down in the corner…
“Obviously, since you chugged that down like water. Let’s go home and sleep.”

For a while Eungyu giggled at me and then all of a sudden, he stopped and raised his hand to pick up the Jungwon doll…

Grabbing a hold of Dondeck, Eungyu got up from the corner…

Hoping that I wouldn’t cry, I covered my mouth with my hand and grabbed onto his shirt. Frowning, he slapped away my hand and said…

For a second I thought my heart had stopped from the anticipation…
…it was the first time he’d looked at me like the old Eungyu…
…it gave me so much hope that he could get better…
Grabbing Jungwon on the ground, I weakly walked behind Eungyu…
With the pot on his head once again, Eungyu started shouting and laughing to himself as people stared at him weirdly…

Something Eungyu had said struck me in the heart painfully…

At home that day, I was trying to make myself feel better, but Jaegawng wasn’t helping me at all…

It was the sound of a cup shattering on the ground…

Unsteadily, he crounched onto the ground and started picking up the shattered glass…

The shock from yesterday seemed to have been too big for his puny little head as he broke into sobs and sat on the ground…

Jaegwang got up from the ground and ran out the house, crying…
Yoon Jaegwang’s sister covered her ears as best as she could with a pillow and then got up from her bed.
When I’d reached the kitchen, I saw Pupu lapping up the spilt milk on the ground. God, answer me…why must we live like this…
Hugging Pupu, who’d gotten kicked out of Jaegwang’s room, I took him to my room slowly fell asleep and was asleep until the phone rang and woke me up around 2 in the morning…
Chapter 4
“Hello?”
“Hey! Come out!!!”
“…Saena…are you drunk…?”
“I said come out!!! Come out!!! Come on! Let’s finish this! Let’s see if you’re better or if I’m better with guys!”
I’m almost positive that’s he’s drunk.
I was about to ignore her and close the lid to my phone when I heard a deep voice next to Saena that stopped me.

“Let go!!! I’m doing this cause I like my oppa! I like meeting my oppa, and this is why I’m calling me friend! I want to show you off! YOON JUNGWON!!!”

I hung up on Saena and fell back asleep.

As I was about to step into the school, Saena grabbed me by the shoulders with her freezing hands.

At a loss of words, Saena grabbed the picture from my hand and quickly ran into our school. Frustrated that I wasn’t taking this as serious as herself. I took out my phone and I realized I had a text message from Seohyu unnie.

Oh my gosh, I’d totally forgotten, if I hadn’t gotten this I might have died, now now let’s see… how much money do I have? I was reaching around every place on my body where I might have money for their present when I sensed someone glaring at me.
