Nursery History
Peach Grove Nursery is located in the rolling hills of northwest Tennessee.  The 10 acers of corn field was purchased in 1999 and the first trees were lined out later that year.   Now about 6 acers has been planted with expectations of having the rest planted next spring.

Peach Grove Nursery is a conifer specilaty nursery but have a large selection of non coniferus woodies and perenials.  Many rare specimans but also those species that have become staples in the horticultural industry.

Not only am I a production nursery, but am also developing the public gardens.  My love for plants is wasted if cant share it with other gardeners.  Including both the gardens and fields I have developed the most complete collection of conifers in the state of Tennessee, obtained in excess of 60 varieties of daylillies, 40 varieties of daffadils, ect....
While the gardens are still young they show much promise and are in constant expantion projects.
Official Mission Statement
It is my full intent to make  rare and unusual plant material available to the average gardener at an affordable price, providing character plants for any garden or landscape project.  Peach Grove Nursery is also to opperate as a research facility in search of new unique plant material for the future as well as to gain information on how certain plants will telerate the growing conditions of West Tennessee (and like climates.)   It is my belief that God intends for the plants he has created to be enjoyed by all, because of this I feel it best not to patent any introductions made by Peach Grove Nursery and to take the effort to seek out new selections from nature and introduce to the horticulture trade.

The nursery shal also serve the community as an educational facility where the community can be exposed to new plant material and seek advise on the proper use of this material in the garden.  If a customer has a need, all effort will be made to either meet that need or direct them to the person / business wo can best meet that need.
My Background
During the summer of 1994 and 1995 I was employed by the Boy Scouts of America as an assistant gardener at their Philmont Scout Ranch.  I attended Joliet Junior College (Joliet Illinois) for 3 semesters before transfering to the Univesity of Tennessee at Martin where I completed my Bachlors in Ornamental Horticultural Sciences in 1998.  Durring those years I worked at local garden centers.  After graduating I was employed as head horticulturalis for Rich's Foxwillow Pines where I was in charge of the worlds largest and most complete conifer collection.  I spent 4 years in that position, gaining as much knowlege and experience as possable prior to leaving to start Peach Grove Nursery.  While establishing my business in Tennessee I maintained a Sales Yard management position for a large landscape / retail nursery firm.
