Leader Meeting Agenda
1. Introductions: Sam, Kathy, Sherry, Nicki, Melody, Lisa,
2. Financial status: 976.35
3. Council Rep. : showed fall product prizes, showed new journey books, packets full of information
4. past events: Sign-ups � new daisy�s=11, 889=7/11 returning + 4 new=11, 381=12/18 returning + 6 new=18, 524=12/26 + 4 new=16, 568 3 returning merging into 550� so, 550= 6/29 returning + 3 new=9, 690=4/7 returning 0 new, 599 = still waiting on, 386=4/4 returning. so total of 69 girls plus 599.
5. past events: bridging � like bridging at end of year better. but do like the welcoming new scouts into unit. so have bridging in either May or June and campout in other month. Then next year start with event in October and at beginning of that event (after flags) do the same to welcome new scouts.
6. future events:

7. Journey books � how do we, as a unit, want to pay for them?
a. this year we need: 1 daisy, 3 brownie, 1 junior, 2 cadet, 1 senior

okayed to Pay Kathy back for 1 of each level books
b. next year we will look at the number of troops at each level and figure it out again
8. October � Jennifer not at meeting - will have info by Oct leader meeting
a. 25th family life center
b. cupcake decorate, ???
c. estimated cost for supplies
9. November � Kathy
a. date/time/location Nov.8 10am or 2 pm hoping for family life center
b. activities � beach ball volleyball, sponge painting, decorating flip-flops/crocs, balloon relay and end with unit wide limbo contest.
c. snack � icees � water bottle left from 4th of July (approved by leader meeting members)
d. estimated costs=$25.00 (icees, paint, sponges, paint, balloons, ribbons & gems & such for decorating flip-flops) Sherry has ribbons to use and bringing them to next leader meeting.
e. unit covering expenses and cost is suggested donation of $1.00 for food pantry.
f. put on form � painting don�t wear fancy clothes
This year I want to have about 5-10 minutes of meetings for leader(s) to tell others what their troop has been doing. Allow others to possibly get some ideas of what they could do for crafts or places to go etc.
I know even my troop is guilty of this � mainly because I have a hard time remembering between the Girl Scout and the Boy Scout� but would LOVE to have all the girls have the Promise and Law memorized so we could easily do these at every event. So, please work on this with your girls and I will get it done myself (I just wish they weren�t so similar � makes it harder to do)
