Peach girl is a manga written by Miwa Ueda, originally published in Japanese 1998. Now it is being published in English by Mixx Entertainment/Tokyo Pop in a girl's comic called Smile. If you really enjoy the series I highly recommend getting a subscription to this magazine!!! There are about 10 issues every year and a subscription is about $29.00. They have recently re-formatted the magazine, and now it is almost 99% manga. (It used to have a lot of other stuff like ads and advise columns, but they have been taken out) Smile is featuring 4 mangas right now: Sailor Moon Super S by Naoko Takeuchi, Peach Girl, Clover by Clamp, and Juline by Narumi Kakinouchi. Now Smile has 3 new mangas other than Peach Girl. The first is called Planet Ladder, which I havn't been able to get into yet. The second and newest is called Paradise Kiss and it is about a group of very eccentric fashion designers in Japan and their model. So far there have only been a few episodes, but I kinda like it. It is different but funny and touching. The third and by far my favorite.... (maybe even more than Peach Girl) is called Mars. It is about a very shy young girl by the name of Kira and a boy by the name of Rei *sigh* (Rei has beautiful expressive eyes.....) Rei is kinda a bad boy, but the two make a perfect couple. *sigh* Don't bother asking me to post pictures from this series, if I was going to do it I would want to do it right and I just don't have the time to do both. I will try to post some pictures from time to time. With the manga that Smile has now I really really really recommend getting a subscription!!!!!

03/21/02 UPDATE

Wow, I can't believe it is over a year since my last update. I know I can't apologize enough for taking so long. I appreciated all of hte offers from different folks to help with the page, but I knew that I wanted to keep doing it, it was just a matter of finding the time. Lots have been going on in my life in the last year. I got totally burned out at my last job, moved, bought a house, went to Japan for a couple of weeks with my bestest Dorobo Megami friend Simone!!!!! HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGS to you if you ever read this ^_^ We ahd a wonderful time. I will try to post some pictures from the trip here soon.

1/28/01 UPDATE!!!

I just got a letter from a very nice gentleman at Tokyo Pop, it it he stated that they were in the process of putting together a page on their web site just for Peach Girl!!! I am not sure when it will be up, but if you get a chance I recommend that you take a look!!! I will let you know if I hear anything new ^__________^

11/17/00 UPDATE!!!

I just got a letter from Tokyo Pop stating that they were no longer going to publish Tokyo Pop. I am unsure if they are still going to put out Smile or not, but I will keep you updated if I hear anything. They will still have their website though, so you can go check it out for some really neat stuff.

I do know that Amazon.com has the graphic novel listed for Peach Girl! If you like the series I highly recommend that you buy it for yourself, trust me, my scans don't even begin to come close to doing it justice! I think that the graphic novel will have about 5, possibly 6 chapters in it, so at this point you may be ahead of the magazine publication if you buy it.
