Toji - "Momo, what are you doing?"

Momo - "Look, I'm darker than you.

Toji - "Yeah, so?"

Momo - "I'm really dark..... Look at my skin. It's ten times as dark as yours."

*Toji is looking at his arm and has a look on his face like 'okaaaaayyy.....'*

Toji - "I guess, maybe."

Momo - "I heard you said you would never date a girl with skin darker than yours. I heard 'Toji's girlfriend would have to have lighter skin than his.' I heard!"

*Momo looks like she is holding back tears*

Toji - *shocked* "I'm sorry. I don't remember even saying that. If I said it and it cause you pain I regret it. I'm sorry."

Toji - *scratching his head* "Anyhow, what I probably meant was that I don't like girls who spend all day at the beach just sothey can show off their tans."

Toji - "But I didn't mean you."

Momo - .............. *tears in her eyes*

Momo - "Are you serious? Do you mean it? Could you like someone.... like me?" *she has her back turned to Toji*

*Toji reaches out and puts his arm around Momo's shoulders. Momo turns to look at him with tears in her eyes.*

Momo - Night turns to dawn and I wake up in the morning.

Momo - .................

*Momo is sitting up in bed looking like she didn't get a wink of sleep the night before*

Momo - And wonder if yesterday really happened.

Momo - Was it a dream? I'm afraid to go out for fear it might have been.

*Remembering Toji's arm around her*

*Momo is walking up to the school*
