NOTE: Okay, after watching box set 3 I now know that Nam has been revealed as Malik at this point, but to save on confusion, I will keep referring to him as Nam and when I refer to Malik I am still talking about Nam's servant. CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE ANIME!!!

Part Two
Leaving the infirmary, Anzu headed towards the small room that Jounouchi had been allocated. As she walked, she tried to plan out what she would do next. Seeing as Yugi was mostly likely in Jounouchi's room, it would not be wise for her to bad mouth the stupid boy. She would have to play at being a caring and concerned friend. Perhaps, she thought with a grin, even have Yugi snuggle up in her arms in a 'comforting' embrace.
It had helped her cause, when Mai had duelled Nam - Jounouchi protecting her had made it seem as if he really did care for her as more than a friend and fellow duellist, she couldn't have made a better tableau than that, and despite Yami taking Ra's blast, Yugi had really then believed that his feelings for Jounouchi had been thoroughly rejected.
Reaching the rooms, she composed herself. Letting a few artificial tears seep from her eyes, and her teeth worry her lower lip, she tapped gently on the door. When no answer was forth coming, she pushed the door and looked inside.
The sight that greeted her, made her smile and her selfish heart melt slightly. Yugi was curled up on the bed like a small child, his hands grasping into the pillow, which his face was snuggled against. For a split second, it looked as if there were two Yugi's, and she realised that Yami must have been holding the boy as he slept. Carefully closing the door, she sat and waited for them to wake, it worked in her favour for them to sleep longer, and it gave her time to plan her actions.
A small brown book peeking out from under the pillow caught her attention, but it was too close to Yugi's hand for her to get, she hoped that it wasn't Jounouchi's, but then, he was too stupid to do something as refined as keeping a journal.

"How is she?" Otogi asked Honda as he entered the infirmary and saw Shizuka asleep with her head on his shoulder.
"Devastated," Honda ran his free hand over his hair, "She can't believe what's happening - neither can I. When Jounouchi fought with Malik, Kaiba said that there wasn't enough force programmed into the disc to kill, so that's a small mercy. Still," he looked across to his friend, lying motionless on the bed, with the monitor beeping steadily, "I wasn't prepared for it to come to this. The Kami no Cards should never have been allowed into the players' decks."
"Hmm," Otogi agreed and sat next to the taller boy.
He had only known Yugi and his friends for a short time, and had nearly alienated himself, in his quest to avenge Pegasus. J. Crawford, and his fallen deal for Dungeon Dice Monsters. Still, after his defeat at Yugi's hands, the worldwide broadcast had done its job, and he had signed a contract with an American company. He was supposed to be in the US, but business matters in Japan had bought him back, and he was glad that they had.
He had gotten to know Honda, and there was something about the other boy that made him want to be around him. But with Shizuka around, the only way he had gotten the other boy to notice him, was to chase Shizuka himself. Luckily, Jounouchi's sister wasn't interested in either of them, so it was a safe game to play. He had been suspicious of Honda's motives, when Honda said that he liked Shizuka because she looked nothing like Jounouchi; Shizuka looked a lot like Jounouchi, it was easy to see that they were related; but he agreed with Honda to set up the premise of the game, and to hide his stirring feelings from the other boy.
The near death experience, over the side of the battleship had been interesting, and afterwards as they talked, Honda admitted that he felt for Jounouchi - but Jounouchi adored Yugi. As they both talked, they sensed an interest in each other and had been attempting to try a first kiss, when Jounouchi and Shizuka walked around the corridor, it resulted in him in a very loose, pathetic excuse for a headlock, from quick thinking Honda.
Since then, they hadn't had a chance to be alone, and now with Jounouchi injured, they had agreed to put their experimentary feelings aside, and be there for Shizuka, who was feeling lost and scared.

It was dark, and cold, he was alone again. Standing, he put his arms out to try and feel a wall - but there was just empty space either side of him. Falling to his knees, he was glad to feel the hard, solid ground beneath him, and he clung to it like an anchor. He was sure that there was somewhere he was supposed to be, something he was supposed to be doing, someone he was supposed to be protecting, but his mind was foggy and it hurt to try and think.
Closing his eyes against the oppressive darkness, he found it a little easier, at least this way he could pretend that it was only dark because he wanted it to be.
Sitting up, he pulled his knees to his chest, and wrapped his arms about them. He would not cry, his father had beaten it in to him that only little baby fags cried, and that if he did, he would leave him to fend for himself, with no money, no belongings and nowhere to live. But since there was no one around to see, and he had been left again any way; he let the sobs that were building inside of him free, and the tears flowed in unstoppable rivers down his cheeks.
A name came to his mind, and he moaned, whispering it softly like a prayer, "Yugi," he sobbed another name, "Yami," then finally, "Minna - help me."
