At Remembrance Time Wear a White Poppy for Peace
Currently, there are some white poppies in the Pride Centre (SSC 013) - stop in and get one!
Try this (it may be more challenging than you think!)
Make a point of buying Canadian produce when you go grocery-shopping; buy Canadian-made clothes. If you can not find such items in your store, ask someone who works there why they are not available and tell them that you'd like to be able to buy such goods.

"Code Purple" is an alert issued at hospitals when patients must be discharged on an emergency basis to allow room for incoming patients.  Wear a purple ribbon and let others know that you are concerned about health care in BC. (click on the image at left for more information)
