3.  Charles [Ghankay]Taylor is the President of Liberia.  He has been charged with Crimes Against Humanity by an International Court in Sierra Leone.  Instead of helpling arrest him United States President George Bush wants him to take asylum in Nigeria.  Many hold Taylor responsible for thousands of amputees and hundreds of abducted children forced to become soldiers under threat of amputations of lips, ears, hands, or feet.  http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&edition=us&q=charles+taylor

4.  Rachel Corrie was attempting to stop an Israeli government owned bulldozer from demolishing a home in a Gaza Refugee camp. The driver of the US made D-9 Catepillar bulldozer ran over 23 year old peace activist Rachel Corrie as she pleaded over the bull horn for the driver to stop.  The driver then backed up running over her again.  Nuha Makadma Sweidan bled to death under ruble during an "accidental house demolition" in Gaza as the driver of an Israeli government owned US built D-9 Catepillar bulldozer deliberately demolished the house next to hers.  Her near full term unborn child died but the 18 month old child Nuha cradled with her body while under the ruble apparently survived.  A peace center is being built to honor Rachel Corrie and Nuha Makadma Sweidan.

More than 9,000 Palestinian homes displacing more than 30,000 Palestinians have been demolished since 1967.  Olive and fruit trees have also been uprooted.  Soil has been removed from agricultural areas.

7.  Former child star Gary Coleman, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hustler Publisher Larry Flynt, a Lt. Governor, at least one Green Party Candidate and more than 500 others competed for the governor's race in California.  Arnold Schwarzenneggar won.
