| (Howie�s View) Firebird reentered the room. She had some men with her. I guess they were her henchmen. We all remained silent hoping nothing would happen to us. She placed her gun on the table. I guess she was trying to make us a little less scared of her. Her henchmen did the same. I glanced at the others. They were watching her & the henchmen as I was. She turned towards us. �Well I guess I will tell you the truth.� She said in disgust. �As for where you are I won�t tell you, but I will tell you why you are here. You are here because I need a lot of money to get out of the country.� �So let me get this straight,� Kevin said �You kidnapped us so you can hold us for ransom & get all the money you need.� �Yes, but I am really shocked that pop singers are that smart. I thought they had all the money they needed to last a lifetime so they don�t need an education,� she said making us look like idiots. �That was the most stupidest thing I have ever heard,� A.J. said trying to find a way to get her back for the comment. �Well the first thing I have to do is find a way to let your families & management what we want so if you excuse us we will be back in a little while,� she said trying to hide her embarrassment. After she left we looked at each other & smiled for the first time during the time that we had been in here. �That women makes dumb blondes look smart,� Nick said as we all laughed. |
