| (Howie�s View) I started going upstairs when Kara started running down them. I caught her. �Daddy, put me down!� se demanded as she tried to get out of my arms. �Not until you promise me you are going to stop running down the steps,� I said. �OK, I promise,� she said. I put her down & she walked down the rest of the stairs & into the living room where my father was watching the news. I walked into my room & made my bed. I walked over to my closet & pulled out the backpack I had packed the night before. I grabbed a baseball cap & walked down the stairs & into the kitchen. I put my backpack into a chair. �Howard, are you sure you want to go out in the public,� my mom asked. �I�ll be OK. If I run into fans I will tell them that I am spending a day with my daughter. They�ll understand.� I told her. Kara popped her head into the kitchen. �Daddy can we leave now,� she asked. �Yes, you have to tell grandma & grandpa goodbye,� She ran to my mother & said goodbye & then disappeared into the living room. �Goodbye Mom,� I said �Goodbye Howard,� she said. Kara was waiting for me in the foyer. We walked out to the car & drove up the road to Disney World. |
