| Sarah died today. I miss her already. It�s hard going home after what happened. Sunny took it the worst I think. She stood between Todd & me during the funeral, crying her heart out to the mother she loved & always knew. Now she sits crying on the bed that her mother slept in. I walked over to her trying to comfort her. She looked up at me when she finished. �Mom, wouldn�t have wanted this, she would have wanted us to be happy & look forward toward new things in life. Wouldn�t she?� �Yes she would, but I know she�ll always be with you Sunny, she will watch you finish school, get a job, get married, have a family of your own, & live a life she wish she could of had.� �Your right. Come on Dad let�s go home.� As they left two beings watched them go. One was Howie�s sister watching her baby brother hold his daughter�s hand & comfort her. The other was smiling both inside & out at what Howie had said. She knew it was true. I will always watch you Sunny, always Sarah thought as she & Caroline walked behind them to watch every minute together |
