| Chapter 5 |
| I can try, Sarah, but you know I have a hard time going places because I will get recognized. Then just do something with her. She hasnt seen you for a few months & she needs to not worry about me so she can have some fun. OK, Ill try. I gently began to shake Sunny awake. She sat up, took one look at me, squealed in delight, & jumped into my arms. I spun her around & gave her a hug. If Id known you were going to be this excited to see me I would have left a few days ago. I said to her. She blushed & gave me a shy smile. My daughter is very quiet but she loves the fact that I had allowed her to stay with her mother while she was still alive. Hey, why dont you go get dressed & maybe we could go do something. Her smile faded as she sat on the bed & told me she wanted to stay with her mother. Sunny, Sarah said. I want you to do something with your father instead of staying in here with me. You dont have to leave the house if you dont want to. Sunny smiled sweetly & nodded her head as she took off down the hall to her room. She returned fully dressed & grabbed my hand as she dragged me down the steps. We walked into a large den. I was in complete shock when we walked in. |
