| Kevin returned later on that evening with Brian. Howie, Melody, & Jen didn�t show up to see him. Kevin�s only guess was that they were still angry with him, but he knew the grudge wouldn�t go on much longer. Howie & Jen both like to keep their friends & they both knew that he didn�t know about the engagement. Kevin decided that he would go up & apologize to them for what he said that morning. He knocked on the door & Melody answered. �HI, Melody, are your mom & Howie here?� �Yeah, hold on. HOWIE!!!� she yelled. �What?� came the reply. �Kevin wants to talk to you.� Howie came to the door. He didn�t look too happy to Kevin. The two men stepped outside the suite. �What do you want?� came Howie�s unhappy voice. �I wanted to apologize to you & Jen for what I said earlier. I shouldn�t have said those things, but I was angry. I jumped to conclusions that I shouldn�t have jumped to & I�m sorry. I know sorry won�t take back the words I said, but I don�t want to lose you or Jen as friends. You two are wonderful people & good friends of mine & I know that my anger towards you was wrong because that�s not what friends do.� Howie was silent for a few moments taking in what Kevin had said. Howie didn�t know what to say to him. His friendship seemed to be in jeopardy, but Howie didn�t know what to say to Kevin. |
