| Kevin left. He was a little angry & confused. Its not like I knew they were engaged. I just knew what A.J told me & what I saw he thought. He walked back to his room & saw Melody sitting on the floor watching cartoons. Kevin felt sorry for what he said. He knew it had taken a lot for Jen to like Howie after what her ex had done to her. She was a little scared of us when we started out, but because of Howie, she opened up & fell in love once again. Besides he thought it�s their lives. I shouldn�t interfere even if I was Melody�s baby-sitter. He told Melody that her mom & Howie were busy & she had to stay with him for a while. Meanwhile� Howie held Jen as she cried in his arms. He attempted to calm her down, but she just didn�t want any comfort. �Howie, why did Kevin have to say those things. I wouldn�t have done anything that would hurt Melody or myself.� �He didn�t understand what we were doing. He knows now so we don�t have to worry about it.� �We do. Everyone in the band & on the road know what we did.� �Unless we deny it.� �That won�t work. They won�t believe us.� �Believe me Jen. Everything will turn out OK.� Howie said as he kissed her. �I believe you, Howie. I believe you.� |
