WE BELIEVE:
In the Holy Trinity, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
That God�s will is revealed to us only through
His Word--the Holy Scriptures of the Bible--
as the only source and norm for all Christian beliefs & practices.        (Sola Scriptura)              
That man is by nature sinful, and cannot keep God�s commandments by his own efforts. Therefore, man�s will is bound to sin and its wages--eternal death.

That God is by nature perfect,
and in Jesus--fully God and fully man--
God�s Law was kept perfectly.

This active obedience of Jesus earned life in heaven for all people.
That God is by nature gracious,
having loved us in Jesus that He would die in our place
to suffer our punishment on the cross of Calvary.

   That this grace of God alone atoned for the sin of the whole world, that all are objectively justified in Jesus.
Yet this grace is not received by all, but is offered by God where He says:
in the Gospel proclaimed and in the Sacraments received
as His means of grace.
And this saving grace offered may be rejected by unbelief, even by one who formerly believed.

That the Holy Spirit works faith in hearts by the Gospel, where and when He pleases, as a gift from God.
That repentance also is a gift of God,
by which He turns our hearts away from sin toward His grace.

That Holy Baptism is God�s gracious washing of water & Word
to save us from sin and make us born anew.

That Holy Communion is the body and blood of Jesus for us to eat and drink for our forgiveness.

That Confession and Absolution is a good practice, to receive forgiveness from the pastor as from God Himself.
