| Don't know how to pray? Well, there is no right or wrong way. All you're doing is talking to Jesus (see The Empty Chair). Our Pastor's wife taught our Pre-School and Kindergarten Sunday School the following: Use your hand to remember who or what you want to pray for or about. |
| the thumb: is closest to you. it represents your friends and family it also points to you, so you can pray for your needs. |
| index/pointer finger: teachers and preachers use this finger to point things out to you |
| middle finger: tallest finger represents our leaders and also our enemies |
| ring finger: is the weakest finger so it represents the poor and sick |
| pinkie: small finger represents the children and elderly |
