Praying Church, October 28, 2001

Pray for our nation and all in authority at all levels of government;
That God will give them wisdom, guidance, and protection for them and their families.

Trust the Lord through prayer with our fears, concerns, requests. See Philippians 4:4-7

In the case of repeated insecurities and fears, give them back to the Lord in prayer. Think
of good things - Philippians 4:8

Pray God's protection over all our citizens at home and abroad as well as others in harm's
way. Pray for all service men and women and military leaders - for supernatural wisdom as
they cooperate with allied troops.Pray that God will give us victory over the Taliban
terrorists. Pray for no more casualties from straying bombs. Pray for the people of
Afghanistan.

Pray for right standing of the United States of America with God.
Pray for right standing of the church, the body of Jesus Christ, with God.
 2 Chronicles 7:14

Pray for salvation for multitudes of people.

Remember that as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ we can come boldly before the Lord
God Almighty and bring our prayers, supplications, and requests. Let us pray from our
hearts, from the depth of our beings let us cry out to God. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to
lead us in our prayers. And let us remember that Jesus Himself is interceding for us. Let us
ask him for the victory over the evil attacks against us as we stand in his power and as we
are under his protection. Ephesians 6:10-18
