Untitled - June 8, 2004 It's a freefall from a hundred feet, plummeting towards earth with no fear of stopping. In a moment between screaming and shouting endless release, the need to find solace takes over, and slows everything down. The plate glass reflects the twinkle of office lights until it becomes a white blur. Held breathless by the shimmering glow of hungry eyes, the sharp whistle cuts through the air catching the attention of a yellow cab immediately. The fierce jolts between stoplights and stray pedestrians veering away from the wild ride as desperation overwhelms nerves of steel and is soothed by the turning of the tides - a crimson haze receding into the background as the gasping breaths slow in turn. #5 of the Taxi Cab Confessionals Series
