Through the looking glass,
Alice peers into a world
that is strangely different
yet so familiar.

Falling into a world
where rules are made
to be broken.

Tumbling like the white rabbit
into the fearsome hole,
until the past is forgotten
and the present consumes us.

And like Alice,
confusion is the reason 
for everything
upside down,
inside out.

Every minute
becomes an eternity
as we wait against
desperate times.
