to bear the cross,
and to search for 
hidden redemption.

Three words - 
love one another,
tempered by three more -
do not judge.

To find forgiveness
in oneself,
to live life
and survive its revelations.

To seek shelter
in understanding,
to give grace
to all others.

To reflect in silence,
to sacrifice without mourning.

To be like the fire,
sharing light
and bring warmth
to one another.
