Untitled - June 22, 2002 In the hot haze that marks the early days of summer, we are drenched with sweat that slides downwards in a wet path leaving watching eyes captivated. In the sudden storms that break the heat, the rain comes down in a matter of minutes, and everything is soaked to the skin - a welcome change from the sheen of dust that coated the early day. As the downpour continues, the rain softens to become a soothing balm to the soul. The clash of thunder and lightning becomes the drumbeat for a sudden frenzy of energetic dancing - like a whirling dervish chasing the hidden dreams. In this euphoric pleasure - the sky is lit up by jags of white lightning - glistening off your laughing eyes. As the dance ends, and your shy smile becomes, I realize that the most gorgeous thing here, were these moments of freedom in the summer rain.
