In a moment of silence,
everything changed -
how telling
in the knowledge
that pure truth
was in silence.

How the truth
became reality
with words left unspoken,
although hearts
could not be unbroken.

What was the past
but a collection of moments -
each more ethereal than the next -
neither continuous nor collected were they;
providing an illusory foundation
for the ever-changing present.
