Peeling away the layers
of our soul,
gradually forcing the reality
upon our senses -
the realization that life
is beyond the present;
stretching into the metaphysics
of things that we cannot understand.

Like a million shades of colour,
that created a vivid landscape;
every moment reveals another aspect
of our lives lived -
one more facet of the soul.

Like the diamond held 
infinitely precious;
every turn in the sun
casts both shadow and light
upon the secret corners
of our life.
