moving back and forth
across the abyss.

Two-stepping across the gaps
that exist before and hereafter -
until the great game of life
mimics this dance.

Giving and taking,
spinning towards
and away
at the same time.

Following a hidden beat
that syncopates
at random moments
until the cacophony of noise
resounds in life.
