It is with equal intensity
that I feel every gain
and every loss,
turning over every word
and reaction
for meanings inherent
and implicit.

It is with the knowledge
of the power of words
that keeps me silent -
saying few
but leaving even more
unsaid.

It is the truth
that sets me free -
to speak what was left unsaid;
to write what was left
unread.
