There is a subtle shift
in all things
as the title changes
from the outside observer
to something very different.

All the thoughts previous
fell upon the page like
so many raindrops from the sky.
But that was just watching others
and asking the rhetorical -
what is real? what is not?

The unknown toppled under
the suddenness of reality,
truth shattering the fear
always held.
