Pineapple explosions
fall from the heavens,
even as the prickly skin
breaks to see
a pale golden center
of tangy sweetness
that but mirrors
the one that tossed
the fruit over
in a careful lobbing 
of a potential bomb -
that revealed itself
as an unexpected
dessert.
