Untitled - May 30, 2001 I'm looking for that silent place within, where I can't hear the voices that wear away on nerves long dead. I'm searching for the silence that is golden to my soul, where all I can feel is the heartbeat of another. I'm finding that hidden nook where the pain just fades away, where the words wash aside all the cuts made unknowingly. I'm jumping into an abyss of deathly emptiness, where light does not enter and hope does not escape. I'm waiting for the end, where the words will hold no power, and time will have no sway. I'm hiding from the world, knowing my knowledge is not quite enough to make the leap from this life to the next.
