My fascination I abhor
watching my southern friends,
vote for Bush or Gore.
My fascination I abhor
reading newscasts more and more
about an election that would never end.
My fascination I abhor
for the words of "Gore in Four."


Bush or Gore was the cry all year,
playing political games for months on end -
a relentless campaign built on fear.

so many days of wails and tears -
was it Gore or was it Bush? Will America ever mend?
