The unending road
travels beyond
the next horizon
as our paces
bring us ever closer
to the journey
that begins
and ends
with our souls.

Reaching for the moonlight
that gathers in pools
and light the way 
of the stars,
our minds travel
faster than 
the swiftest of birds.

Knowing that loneliness
is the only reason
that keeps our journey
undying
as we search
for the other half
of our soul.
